Many difficulties we have faced when we do our ministry in the Island, although sometimes we don't understand why some people in the island intimidate us and do many things to stop us. in the end we understand all the trouble/difficulties we experience have enriched us, we are not depend on our abilities, our desire is to bless the children of this island, we will continue to struggle until we finish our ministry in 15-20 years
We have faced :
1. No Clean Water, the water from the well we dig was very dirty, so we used rain water for our needs, in the situation when no rain fall, we buy the water, but 2 of our neighbour threaten us and will throw stone if we continue buy the water and the truck water pass by the road in front of their house, finaly we knew that they forbid us to pass the road because they want us to buy their land with 4 times normal price
2. Our land which we built simple house for the orphanage/underpriviledge children has been taken by somebody, they intimidate by breaking the 3 fence collumn, they threatened us and ask us to buy the land which they don't own, we have bought the land from our friend, but last year 1 of our neighbour claimed the land own by them, and we already paid them amount of money, but now another person want to take advantage on us, we don't know how many times we have to face this.
3. Part of one of the wall has been destroyed by one of the unkown neighbour, just to make the owner of the wall angry with us, and to stop our work in building the Children Home
4. Many times, we nearly beaten by the drunked man, Once one of the worker which build the Children Home want to cheat us, and threaten us and want to Hit us, but we have been protected by the grace of our Lord.
many things has happen, now we understand 2Co 4:8-9
there will be moment when we passed all these things with HIS Grace, we can praise our Lord with thankfull heart, not all the people hinder us, some of the families also help us,
"For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake" (Php 1:29)
"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps" (1Pe 2:21)
