EMPATHY

We can see many people need help, they need good nutrition, they need good care but who shall I SENT said the Lord, here I am my Lord, send me.......

We want to take them and feed them, the poorest people among us, but we haven't got power to do it (workers) to make it happen, but we continue praying that somebody will have burden together with us doing this, for the time being we have works to do now, raising the orphanage kids, managing 2 kindergarden with 3 teachers and 3 workers

We are praying that we can buy a piece of land to do farming together with our kids, this will train them live skills, we can supply our own vegetables and meat for our orphanage.
We are also struggling and praying that God provide a car so we can bring the kids to school (for now they walked to school), so we can help the people in this island better.

ACTIVITIES IN MEI-JUNE 2011

The kids entering the holidays, we are looking for teacher to help them in learing, everyday from 15.00-17.00, we add another 2 hours learing time in the morning during holidays (from 9.00-11.00), for the kids to catch up with the school subject, also to teach them discipline even during holiday, one of the kids have first rank in her class (Lina) which improve from last year (2nd rank in the class) and there is a boy which also improve from rank 6 to rank 5 this year

The smaller kids are learning alphabet and numbers, some of them can read, maybe we are the smallest and simplest orphanage wich run by us (Nias outsider) but .we a sure that we give good nutrition, milk, vegetables and eggs

1/23/11

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed

Many difficulties we have faced when we do our ministry in the Island, although sometimes we don't understand why some people in the island intimidate us and do many things to stop us. in the end we understand all the trouble/difficulties we experience have enriched us, we are not depend on our abilities, our desire is to bless the children of this island, we will continue to struggle until we finish our ministry in 15-20 years

We have faced :

1. No Clean Water, the water from the well we dig was very dirty, so we used rain water for our needs, in the situation when no rain fall, we buy the water, but 2 of our neighbour threaten us and will throw stone if we continue buy the water and the truck water pass by the road in front of their house, finaly we knew that they forbid us to pass the road because they want us to buy their land with 4 times normal price

2. Our land which we built simple house for the orphanage/underpriviledge children has been taken by somebody, they intimidate by breaking the 3 fence collumn, they threatened us and ask us to buy the land which they don't own, we have bought the land from our friend, but last year 1 of our neighbour claimed the land own by them, and we already paid them amount of money, but now another person want to take advantage on us, we don't know how many times we have to face this.

3. Part of one of the wall has been destroyed by one of the unkown neighbour, just to make the owner of the wall angry with us, and to stop our work in building the Children Home

4. Many times, we nearly beaten by the drunked man, Once one of the worker which build the Children Home want to cheat us, and threaten us and want to Hit us, but we have been protected by the grace of our Lord.

many things has happen, now we understand 2Co 4:8-9
there will be moment when we passed all these things with HIS Grace, we can praise our Lord with thankfull heart, not all the people hinder us, some of the families also help us,
"For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake" (Php 1:29)
"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps" (1Pe 2:21)
